My name is Jennifer Gottesfeld. I currently work for Baylor College of Medicine’s operation in Lilongwe, Malawi, under the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative. I work for a specific program called Tingathe, which is the hospital’s community health worker outreach program. My current job is to develop programs and operations to enhance the CHW program.
In the past I have worked for International Medical Corps in resource development, under the UNHCR in a refugee camp in Zambia where I developed a health center and health education campaigns as well as for a number of small grassroots organizations.
I believe in global health equity and plan to contribute whatever skills and knowledge I have to help move us closer to that ideal.
